07-12-17 Bardic Evening
  With: Kevan and Carola

02-11-17 Sacred Geometry of Britain. The Belinus Line
  With: Gary Biltcliffe
The Spine of Albion is the result of a 15-year quest to uncover Britains longest north / south axis called the Belinus Line, which connects six major cities including the ancient capitals of England and Scotland from the Isle of Wight at the base of England to Durness at the very tip of northern Scotland. Whilst researching this lesser known alignment, the authors discovered accompanying hidden pathways channelling a mysterious force that the ancient indigenous tribes around the world associated with a mythical creature called the dragon. Having a natural ability to detect these sinuous paths of energy in the land, the authors followed their route across the English and Scottish countryside and discovered they cross at many key places of power

07-09-17 Wonders of Yew
  With: Fred Hageneder
Fred has been researching trees since 1980, in conjunction with cultural history, mythology and comparative religion. Since 1999 Fred has written various ethnobotanical books about the cultural and spiritual history and meaning of trees. Perhaps no tree other than Taxus baccata L., the yew, has kept us guessing so much and for so long. First, there's the taxonomy. Being a 'conifer' that refrains from producing cones and instead lets a sweet succulent red aril develop around the seed. 'Baccata' means berry-like. The Yew is the oldest native tree species of Europe

03-08-17 How To Read Stonehenge. An After Sunrise Before-Sunset Guided Tour for the Discerning Visitor
  With: Colin Parker
Author Colin Parker has spent the last 30 years as an independent researcher of many disciplines. These include: archaeology, architecture, astronomy, Egyptology, quantum physics, religion, freemasonry, civil and mechanical engineering. Many years ago he began researching the adoption of ancient pre-history earthwork pagan sites by the early Christian churchmen, during the replacement of Paganism by Christianity in Britain. The first years were spent researching and measuring the solar-lunar orientation of pre-reformation Christian churches built within ancient pre-historic earthwork pagan sites, checking each individual site entrance and viewing horizon for possible solar-lunar orientation within the landscape. As this research progressed, he researched and measured each ancient pre-historic earthwork pagan site within the Stonehenge landscape. Perhaps their orientation and position could provide possible purposes for their construction. They were built by generations of people using antler picks and cattle shoulder blades as shovels who would never see these huge projects finished

06-07-17 The Sacred History
  With: Johnathan Black
The Sacred History is an account of the workings of the supernatural in history. It tells the epic story of angels, from Creation, to Evolution through to the operations of the supernatural in the modern world. This tale of how people and peoples have been helped by angels and other angelic beings is woven into a spellbinding narrative that brings together Krishna, Moses, Buddha, Elijah, Mary and
Jesus, Mohammed, Joan of Arc, the angels who helped Hungarian Jews persecuted by the Nazis, and stories from African, Native American and Celtic traditions. Told from the spiritual point of view, The Sacred History relates every betrayal, every change of heart, every twist and turn, everything that looks like a coincidence, every portent, every clue, every defeat, every rescue moments before
the prison door clangs shut. This is the angelic version of events

06-04-17 The Mysteries of Chartres Cathedral
  With: Sylvia Francke

Sylvia Francke, author of 'The Tree of Life and The Holy Grail.' Is an anthroposophist, member of the RILKO (Research Into Lost Knowledge Organisation) Council, and of the Francis Bacon Society Council Chartres Cathedral, standing on an ancient sacred site south west of Paris, represents the highest achievement in the flowering of Gothic architecture. Its orientation, close to midsummer sunrise, is in contrast to the north eastern orientation of most Christian churches and it has been a place of pilgrimage for thousands of years. The iconography in stone and stained glass presents us with the rich content of the Platonically inspired teachings of the School of Chartres which flourished between the tenth and the thirteenth centuries

02-03-17 The Runes
  With: Glen Lane
There is some, lets say, a variety of opinions to when the Runes came into practice, the oldest view is they are over 2,000 years old. The Runes themselves come from the Teutonic and Scandinavian spiritual traditions and the word Rune itself means mystery. The Runes have been used in casting for divination, communication in the form of writing, used in protection and healing charms. Each Rune itself is a shamanic guide, for in the Poetic Edda their coming into being was indeed a shamanic experience for Odin as detailed below from the Havamal of the Edda

01-12-16 Rennes le Chateau
  With: Andrew Gough
The story of Rennes-le-Chateau is fantastical, even mystical. Or is it? One school of thought claims it's a complete hoax. Another believes it is one of the greatest mysteries of our time. Perhaps the truth lies somewhere in-between

03-11-16 A Landscape Revealed
  With: Martin Green
The Down Farm Landscape (where Martin's family has farmed for generations) is one of the most carefully studied areas in Western Europe. Much of this work has been carried out by Martin himself - who in 1992 won the Pitt Rivers award for independent archaeology. He and his work (which has involved five universities and one of the major field units were recently featured in a BBC 2 'Meet the Ancestors' programme. The farm is part of Cranborne Chase, just south of Salisbury (where, coincidentally, the famous General Pitt Rivers began his pioneering work in the 1880s). It not only contains the Neolithic Dorset Cursus, numerous long barrows and Hambledon Hill, but over the last 30 years henges, shafts, plastered houses, land divisions, enclosures and cemeteries have been identified and excavated

06-10-16 Axis of Heaven
  With: Paul Broadhurst

Paul will unearth the hidden knowledge that inspired many famous historical figures. The cast of those who linked themselves to this ancient tradition includes the Normans, Plantagenets and Tudors, whose favourite royal palace stood at Greenwich. Queen Elizabeth's court mathematician, astronomer and astrologer Dr John Dee was a leading expert on maps and meridians and one of the prime movers in a great age of discovery.

The Stuarts, who were immersed in the old mystical lore of Britain, built the Queen’s House and Royal Observatory to mark the Axis and initiate a new era of scientific endeavour. Others, from Saxon kings and early astronomical pioneers who mapped the heavens, to Sir Christopher Wren, a Grand Master Freemason, who built the observatory and helped establish Greenwich as a centre of astronomical and scientific excellence, also knew of its symbolic power and ancient connection with the stars

04-08-16 The Vortex Theory
  With: David Ash

The Vortex Theory originating from ancient Yogic Philosophy provides an account of subatomic particles, as spherical vortices of energy, which explains the properties of matter such as inertia, mass and three dimensional extension. Extending vortex energy also sets up the force fields including electric charge, magnetism and gravity. It also accounts for curved space. Einsteins theory of gravity and the quantum mechanical account for forces are contested. The vortex theory can also explain high energy physics, matter and antimatter, nuclear energy, the strong nuclear force, wave particle duality and many other properties of matter. It rewrites quantum theory. The vortex theory replaces quark theory and quantum mechanics with a far simpler model of quantum reality and opens the door to the possibility of dimensions of reality beyond the speed of light.

The Yogic perception of the vortex of energy, offering an all embracing view of the Universe, was first presented from the historic rostrum of Michael Faraday at the Royal Institution of Great Britain on January 15th 1975 and published twenty years later. In the 1995 publication the effect known as dark energy published by Saul Perlmutter in 1997, was predicted. The Vortex theory, is validated according to the scientific method. It is a sound scientific theory

12-05-16 The Perpetual Choirs and the Decagon
  With: Trish Mills

The Interconnectedness of All Things - From the Perpetual Choirs of Britain to the present day' was written by John Gibson-Forty. Unfortunately, John had a massive stroke shortly after publication, and as his publisher, Trish Mills has been doing talks on his behalf.
In a nutshell, the Perpetual Choirs were three choirs, probably comprised of early monks, saints or Druids, who maintained ceaseless chanting on a rolling rota basis, 24/7, for the ongoing enchantment of Britain. Their area of influence dowsed as being a ten-sided Decagon centred on Whiteleaved Oak and Ragged Stone Hill in the Malvern Hills.

During his research, John inadvertently discovered that energy lines are constantly increasing and decreasing in width. He eventually figured out why, and Trish reveals the secret to the mystery. Trish, Chairman of Slimbridge Dowsing Group, has presented this talk many times; the Hundredth Monkey effect has kicked in (tipping point) and today folks are singing the lines annually, worldwide in the hope of bringing back some of the enchantment

07-04-16 Hartmann and Curry Grids
  With: Steve Dawson
Our planet earth is surrounded by a highly complex grid of energy lines, rather like a hair net. Actually, it’s more accurate to say two grids, the Hartmann and Curry Lines. Steve Dawson, an ex-military diver and now a dowser will talk about their discovery by two German doctors, and also how these lines affect the landscape and the creatures upon it

03-03-16 The Crop Circle Mysteries

This lively and inspiring presentation explains the fascinating history of the mysterious patterns up to the present and explores how both the designs and some of the intriguing and imaginative theories concerning them have developed over the years

04-02-16 The Hidden Hive of History
  With: Andrew Gough
Andrew Gough is a writer, television presenter and enthusiast of ancient lands, mysteries and traditions. His presentation, 'The Hidden Hive of History', will examine the lost tradition of what he believes to be the most deified god or goddess that has ever existed; the honeybee - the forgotten god of the ancients. Andrew will graphically chronicle a sacred tradition that his research suggests has existed for over 100 million years. In the process, he will reveal how an awareness of the veneration of the honeybee brings new insight into enigmas such as Atlantis, the Labyrinth of Knossos, the Sphinx, Goddess Worship, the Grail, the birth of Religion, Politics, Illuminati, and much more

07-01-16 Beating the Bounds
  With: Geraldine Beskin
The Parish boundaries are walked, driven, ridden and sailed over every year as they are still an important way of defining areas. The Church should get them done before Easter but nowadays they are marked whenever people are free and it makes for a good day out. Property developers are not particularly known for their historical awareness but the Parish records can throw up useful covenants and restrictions to halt demolition sometimes and it is fun to find out why somewhere is called what it is. I think I have found beating the bounds to be a very clear pre-Christian survival that is thriving today

03-12-15 the Evolution of Ancient Druidry
  With: Dennis Andrew
The talk will start with the decline of Ancient Druidry under Roman rule in the first century CE and the reasons for its suppression. Jumping forward over 1700 years it will explain the beginnings of the modern revival of interest in Druidry and chart its development from a philosophy to its evolution into the diverse faith it is today. Hopefully it will address a lot of the myths and misconceptions about modern Druidry and explain what we see as our role in modern society

06-08-15 Ley Lines, Templars and Destiny Amid Our England Landscape
  With: Mark Herbert
Is it possible for soul relationships to be expressed as precise geometrical alignments along etheric pathways over Earth’s surface? Is it also feasible that the same soul associations can be depicted in sacred geometry upon the celestial sphere? What could any of these novel philosophies have to do with Midsummer’s Day, or the “Cross of Light” or the Knights Templar? An illustrated presentation covering the comprehensive observations, insights and analyses of Mark Herbert – Earth Sensitive, Ley-man and Astrosopher, making a strong true life case for the pre-natal intelligence of the soul and its post-natal spiritual guidance

04-06-15 Divining Sacred Sites
  With: Maria Wheatley
Past civilizations recognized that the Earth emits harmonic energy and ancient sites mark these special locations. Millennia ago, earth energies and leys were skillfully integrated into stone circles, pyramids, ancient walled cities, Druid and Native American ceremonial enclosures, and this form of spiritual architecture, known to the Templars and the Masonic Brotherhood can be traced back to Atlantis

06-03-14 The Deities of Egypt
  With: Martin Llewelyn

06-02-14 Sheela Na Gigs of Ancient Britain
  With: Meghan Rice
Amongst the many carvings peering down at you from church doorways and castle walls you may one day encounter a figure to inspire feelings of shock, disgust, confusion and more than a little intrigue. Brazenly displaying all their assets, these unusual carvings known as sheela-na-gigs have mystified scholars and inspired artists for centuries. But what they are and why are they there in some of the last places you'd expect to see an image that could arguably be considered lewd, is still very much open to debate. Not only that, but historians still dispute when were they carved and, indeed, by who. Do they have any relevance today or are they simply antiquated curiosities shrouded in academic mystery Meghan Rice holds an MA in Early Modern History (King's College London) with a concentration in Irish and British history. Her undergraduate dissertation was on sheela-na-gigs, a topic she still avidly pursues, while her MA dissertation discussed why the Tudor English characterised the Irish during that period as 'pagan'. She also works as a 'doula', helping women and couples to have a more rewarding and empowering birth experience, with images of sheela-na-gigs acting as one of the many visualisation tools she employs in this role.

02-01-14 Gobekli Tepe: Gateway to the Stars
  With: Andrew Collins
Gobekli Tepe is the oldest complex of stone circles and sanctuaries anywhere in the world. At 11,500 years old it was apparently built in SE Turkey at the end of the last Ice Age by simple hunter-gatherers. Yet some of its megalithic structures contain blocks as much as 15 tonnes a piece, with a height of 5.5 metres. Who really built this monument, and why? Andrew Collins shows that Gobekli Tepe was constructed to target the stars. He demonstrates conclusively that it was directed towards the Cygnus constellation, which since 15,000 BC has been seen as the entrance to the sky-world, where life began and souls return to in death. Yet as an astral gateway it was not just used by the souls of the dead to reach the afterlife, or unborn souls to reach incarnation, but also by the souls of shamans journeying between this world and the next. Andrew is a writer of ancient and more modern mysteries, and the author of over a dozen books including From the Ashes of Angels (1996), The Cygnus Mystery (2006), Beneath the Pyramids (2009) and Gobekli Tepe: Genesis of the Gods (2014).

05-12-13 Philosophy

07-11-13 FRACKtured Future. It Doesn't Have to be This Way!
  With: Ian R Crane
Former oilfield executive Ian R Crane has engaged industry sources and independent researchers to lay the foundations for his investigations into fracking - mining of shale and coal seam gas. In "Fractured Future - It doesn't have to be this way”, a nationwide speaking tour, Ian asks whether this 'miracle' of nature really will be the solution to our nation's problems? Is it going to be the best thing for us since North Sea gas, or are there hidden dangers which could impact upon communities in ways which need open discussion? Across the UK, a backdrop of unemployment, national debt and austerity is creating a distraction from more long-term problems. While such issues will take decades to address, the potential hazards brewing in the background, which the wider public remain complacent about, are likely to take centuries to put right. Ian considers whether corporate profits are being put ahead of the health, safety and the well-being of our natural environment. We are subjected to increasing restrictions on food choices and health choices, all in the name of protecting us. We have more surveillance and monitoring to safeguard us, and further restrictions on the media are forthcoming. Are such actions justified, and considering our safety is being seen as paramount in these areas, will fracking be subjected to equal levels of caution? Our national debt has risen by 4%, from 82% to 86% of our Gross Domestic Product, despite all the austerity measures put in place - creating a Trillion Dollar Debt. As experts will tell you, once it goes beyond 100% (where UK debt will be more than annual turnover) our problems will escalate. Is fracking a short-term gain for a long-term loss? A credit crunch turned into an environmental crunch, while bankers' bonuses continue to escalate? Meanwhile, Al-Qaeda are being fought and funded by the West at one and the same time, and yet the people of Britain just shrug their shoulders.

06-06-13 Spirit Chaser - The Quest for Bega
  With: Alex Langstone
Who was St Bega and what links her to the sacred centre of the British Isles? Alex Langstone will talk about the story behind his recent book and will reveal the outcomes and consequences of his exploratory journey into seventh century Britain and Ireland. Spirit Chaser is the true story of a psychic adventure that turned into an uplifting spiritual pilgrimage. In June 1989, the author began following a series of psychic messages and significant synchronicity that led him to discover the enigmatic mystery of St Bega, the sacredness of the British landscape and ultimately to experience the divine reality of the Celtic tradition of mysticism, miracles and magic. Over a period of 17 years, the author has met many people who have helped him on this spiritual quest. People from many different backgrounds and traditions; a myriad web of seemingly unconnected folk, who through a strange and unconscious thread of fate have each contributed to this amazing story of psychic adventure, spiritual fulfilment and creative enlightenment. Spirit Chaser takes us on a magnificent journey, a journey into the twilight past of seventh century Britain and Ireland. A journey into the heart of a modern day quest for the mystery that is the Sancta Bega; the sacred ring at the mystical centre of the British Isles

02-05-13 Metatronic Earth grids over Roslin (Scotland) and the Burren (Ireland)
  With: Jackie Quealy
This talk is about specific earth grids that figured a lot in day tours led by the presenter when she lived in Scotland. Now living in the west of Ireland she found that there was a similar grid overlaying another grid she knew about in the Burren an extremely rare limestone landscape close to her home. Using graphics of the basic pattern and specific maps she will show how it is used both within and around Rosslyn Chapel and also how it interacts with human consciousness. To demonstrate its universal quality she will also use the Burren as a living example. These grids are very high in frequency so often overlooked by dowsers

In her talk, she takes as its starting point the fact that that we cannot be sure of the true nature of the reality which we find ourselves living in. Understanding of our reality can be likened to observing the glitter balls that used to be found on night club and ballroom ceilings. They are as they are, but as they turn and turn all anyone can see of them are the myriad reflections as the light shines on them as they stand underneath. Not only that but the reflections look different to everybody, depending where in the room they are standing and what light is shining on what facet at the time. All we can see of our reality is these reflections (or aspects) and their interactions. She will be looking at the main seven reflections identified and how they interact with each other and us. The question is also asked, how can we use this information to live better lives? Marian will also bring her own glitter ball! She has recently had a book published called Aspects of reality- a users guide to the universe. available from Archive Publishing WWW.transpersonalbooks.com). The book combines science spirituality philosophy and alternative thinking into a coherent structure.

03-01-13 The Rise and Fall of Atlantis
  With: John Gordon
The occurrence of periodic world cataclysms is now established fact. However, the associated rationale and its relationship to astrological-cum-astrophysical cycles is not properly understood or even widely discussed. This talk will aim to introduce the associated rationale of the 25,920 year Great Year (dealing with the precession of the equinoxes), showing how and why planet Earth responds in the manner that it does, thereby generating volcanic and earthquake activity, together with some of the historic side-effects which confirm that the core of the Earth is quite distinctively different to what mainstream science imagines it to be. The talk will be supported by a Powerpoint graphic presentation. John Gordon's book "The Rise & Fall of Atlantis" is published by Inner Traditions

04-10-12 The Spine of Albion
  With: Gary Biltcliffe
Gary is a great friend of the group and a popular speaker. After reading the book "The Sun and the Serpent" by dowser Hamish Miller and researcher and writer Paul Broadhurst, he was inspired to walk and dowse the St Michael alignment, the longest East-West alignment in the country from Lands End in Cornwall to the Norfolk coast. During this pilgrimage, he had a strong sense that there must be an equivalent North South line. Later that week he visited Glastonbury, and by chance, picked up a book in one of the second-hand bookshops called "Brigantia a Mysteriography" by Guy Ragland Phillips published in 1976. As he opened the book, he saw an outline plan of Britain showing the Belinus Line. The first thing that impressed him about the line was its projection. It forms the longest land route through Britain in a North-South direction avoiding the sea

03-05-12 Basic Dowsing
  With: Sig Lonegren
If you are in to the Earth Mysteries, dowsing can be one essential tool for learning how to experience them. Sig will be leading an evening of basic dowsing concentrating on the pendulum and on L rods. If you have these tools, please bring them, if not, any small weight (like a ring) on a string/thread will make a fine pendulum. Two all-wire coat hangers will make fine L rods. He will cover his tuning in method for the pendulum to get "yes" or "no" answers to questions, and will teach you how to use your L rods/coat hangers to find the Earth energies that are in the Stapehill Village Hall. Sig was taught how to dowse by his mother over fifty years ago. He is a past Trustee of both the American and British Society of Dowsers, and has written a number of books on dowsing, one of which (The Pendulum Kit) has sold over a-million-and-a-half copies in fifteen languages. As a professional Geomancer (a diviner of the Earth), he teaches Earth Mystery related subjects both in Europe and in the United States, and lives in Glastonbury with his wife Karin, who is a well-known healer.
